Ethan graduated with an ATAR of 98.80 and standout results in Music 2 (98), English Advanced (97), English Extension 1 (48/50) and Business Studies (94). He is studying Commerce and Law at UNSW. At school he served as a Senior School Prefect, held the rank of Cadet Under Officer in the King's Cadet Corps, swam in the AAGPS senior squad and led the school's Chamber Strings as Concertmaster, so he knows what it takes to run a full HSC alongside a crowded schedule.

As a tutor, Ethan works backwards from the marking criteria, showing students what examiners actually reward in a Band 6 response rather than what a summary of the content covers. He builds real understanding of the material first and layers exam technique on top of it, adjusting his approach across year groups and abilities until a student finds the method that sticks for them.
